Circle K Prices in Bali

Circle K shop in Kuta, Bali, during our visit

A bottle of Pure Life for 5,500 rupiah, chips for 12,000 and a 330 ml Bintang for 30,000 — these were some of the prices we found during our visit to Circle K in Kuta. That works out at approximately $0.4, $0.7 and $1.7, respectively. We also looked at options for a quick breakfast, a snack on the go or a simple meal at a table outside the shop.

The shelves held local brands alongside familiar international products: water, tea, soft drinks, beer, chips, sweets and instant noodles. The shop also had a menu of coffees, burgers and drink combos. Below, we share prices and our own photographs, together with 20 additional products from online Circle K listings in Bali, from large bottles of water and Pocari Sweat to Magnum ice cream and toothpaste.

Article updated: November 3, 2026. The photographs record prices from our visit. Online offers checked during the update are clearly identified separately. Prices can vary by branch, promotion and purchase method; this is not a single price list for the whole chain.

Understanding rupiah and the currency conversions

Indonesian prices are quoted in rupiah, or IDR, often shown as Rp. On these shelf labels, 12.000 or 12,000 means twelve thousand rupiah. The menu abbreviation 20K means 20,000 IDR.

For the comparisons throughout this article, we use the US-dollar cross-rate calculated from the National Bank of Poland’s average exchange rates dated November 3, 2026. All dollar amounts are in USD. As a quick guide:

10,000 IDR ≈ $0.6. 50,000 IDR ≈ $2.8, and 100,000 IDR ≈ $5.6.

USD estimates are always rounded upward to the next $0.1 (one decimal place), so they are deliberately slightly higher than the exact conversions. We use the same rate to compare all prices, including those photographed during our visit; these conversions do not reconstruct what a payment cost at the time. A bank or exchange office may use a different rate. Source: NBP, exchange-rate table 214/A/NBP/2026.

Additional online Circle K prices in Bali

To help put everyday purchases into context, we also checked prices for products that we could not clearly read in our footage or that were not included in our original overview.

The amounts below were visible on November 3, 2026, in publicly indexed Circle K listings on GrabMart. These are online offer prices; we did not confirm them at the shop checkout or in a completed online basket. The checking date is not the date on which the shop updated its price list. Delivery and service fees may increase the total.

In the first two tables, Canggu means the Villa Kedis Canggu branch, while Kuta means Grand Inna Kuta. This identifies the branch behind each price.

These prices put Le Minerale at approximately 4,667 IDR per litre in the 1.5 l bottle, compared with 3,600 IDR per litre in the 5 l container. The larger container works out cheaper as a supply to keep in your room.

Basic toiletries

A forgotten toothbrush or an almost-empty tube of toothpaste can be another reason to stop at a minimarket. We found the following in the online listing for Circle K Sahadewa Bali:

Product / packagePrice in IDRApprox. USD ($)
Pepsodent White toothpaste, 75 g5,000$0.3

Water at Circle K: Pure Life, Pristine and Evian

Our photographs show how different brands and bottle sizes sit side by side. Pure Life was priced at 5,500 IDR, while two versions of Pristine had labels showing 6,000 and 8,500 IDR. Using our comparison rate, that is approximately $0.4, $0.4 and $0.5.

The refrigerator held Pure Life, Pristine, Aqua, Le Minerale and Evian, among other brands.

Next to the Evian bottle shown, we read 25,500 IDR, approximately $1.5. This is clearly more than the Pure Life price, but without confirming both bottle sizes, it should not be treated as a comparison per litre.

Bintang Pilsener in a 330 ml bottle cost 30,000 IDR during our visit, approximately $1.7. Nearby, Bintang Crystal 330 ml was 32,000 IDR, around $1.8, while Carlsberg 330 ml was 35,000 IDR, around $2.0.

There were also red PROMO signs on the refrigerator. Read their conditions carefully: an offer may apply to a particular variety or require buying two or three items. The large number on a sign is not necessarily the price of one bottle behind it.

Chips and snacks: Japota, PotaBee and other flavours

In the shop we visited, Japota Beef BBQ and PotaBee Wagyu Beef Steak had labels showing 12,000 IDR, approximately $0.7 per package shown. Other snacks included Piattos, Kris Bee and Smax.

Different brands, flavours and package sizes share the same shelf.

It is a chance to compare local flavours with the snacks you know from home. Check the package weight as well as the price: similar prices do not necessarily buy the same amount of chips.

Instant noodles: from basic packets to pricier varieties

The noodle selection extended well beyond a few standard instant cups. We found products from Nissin, Nongshim, Samyang and Buldak, among others.

During our visit, Nissin Tori Kara Ramen and Nissin Yakisoba Takoyaki 104 g were priced at 8,000 IDR, approximately $0.5. Nissin Irvins Spicy Salted Egg was 15,000 IDR, around $0.9, and Nongshim Seafood Bulgogi 105 g was 15,500 IDR, around $0.9.

Hot water and tables outside the shop

Beside the shelves was a hot-water station, with cups and drink supplies nearby. This is useful for products designed to be prepared with boiling water; check the instructions on the package first.

The shop also had a covered, open-air seating area facing the street, where visitors could sit with a drink or snack. This was the setup at the branch we visited; check the facilities separately if choosing another location.

What would a small shopping basket cost?

Adding a few items together makes the prices easier to picture. These examples use only the shelf labels and menu from our visit. They are calculations, rather than a record of our receipt.

Two Pure Life bottles + two Japota packages35,000$2.0
Bintang Pilsener 330 ml + Japota42,000$2.4
Two burger + 390 ml drink combos46,000$2.6

These baskets illustrate the scale of spending on a few small purchases.

What to check when shopping

  • Check the package size. Compare matching volumes or use the price per litre or per 100 g.
  • Read the promotion conditions. A multi-buy discount may not apply to a single item.
  • Match the label to the product. Similar bottles and flavours stand side by side, and a price may refer to another variety.
  • Check the final total online. Delivery and service fees may be added to the product prices.
  • Compare several shops for a larger purchase. Our overview puts specific prices into context; it does not establish which chain is cheapest across Bali.
